We are both electrical and computer engineers! We met in our first year, and were just acquaintances. In our second summer we both took EECE 330 (data structures and algorithms) with Dr Artail, and we were both struggling with probation. We started studying together because when you’re on probation no one wants to study with you! So we helped each other out. Fast forward 3 years we’re engaged! He went on to pursue a masters degree in the U.S, while I’m working for a reputable engineering firm in Beirut. AUB brought us together, what a magical place!

I met Adba when i joined AUB fall of 1983. On August 16, 1984 our love story started and Van Dyck dormitory witnessed this for many years. We joined medical school together . On October 2, 1993, we got married. Our first child Joya was born in AUBMC on November 24, 1994. She is now 21 years old and she graduated from AUB Business School in 2015. My second child Toni was born also in AUBMC & he is 18 years old now and he applied for AUB for next year. It is because of AUB , my 2 two precious children existed and i will be forever indebted & grateful to AUB.
